As part of the Doctoral School's training program, a minimum 2-month internship at a selected scientific/research or industrial unit is mandatory. The internship should be planned at the IRP, completed during the 4-year doctoral programme, and cannot be divided into shorter periods.

A document confirming completion of the internship should be prepared, if possible, on the unit's letterhead and contain:

• The name and surname of the doctoral student completing the internship,
• The place of the internship (full name of the institution/company and its address details),
• The exact period of the internship (day, month, year of commencement and completion),
• A description of the tasks and duties performed during the internship (as detailed as possible, consistent with the facts, taking into account its connection with the subject of the doctoral dissertation),
• A description of the learning outcomes acquired during the internship (taking into account the codes from § 2(3) of the Training Program)
• Signature of the internship supervisor (first name, surname, position, company stamp).
