The START Scholarship of the Foundation for Polish Science is a prestigious award for the most talented young scientists, granted in recognition of their scientific achievements. Female and male scientists representing all fields of science who are under 30 years of age in the year of application may apply for it.

The competition for the scholarship evaluates primarily the quality and originality of the candidate's previous scientific output and the most important research achievement.
