Applications Open: Best Doctoral Researcher in the Greater Poland Voivodeship 2026

Dear Doctoral Students,

Behind every doctoral degree are ideas, perseverance, and achievements worth showcasing. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Poznań Doctoral Students’ Agreement, we invite you to take part in a competition that aims to recognize and celebrate those who contribute to the academic community of the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region.

Who can participate?

The competition is open to doctoral students enrolled in doctoral schools located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, regardless of their academic discipline or year of study.

The main awards will be presented in two separate groups: doctoral students who have not yet undergone their mid-term evaluation and those who have completed it. This approach ensures that achievements are assessed in the context of each participant’s stage of doctoral training.

What achievements will be recognized?

In addition to the main awards for overall achievements and activities, special distinctions will be granted in five categories:

  • Scientific achievements
  • Teaching activities
  • Artistic achievements
  • Sporting achievements
  • Organizational activities

How to apply

Please read the competition rules, prepare documents confirming your achievements, and submit a complete application. Please note that the application form must be signed by both the candidate and the director of their doctoral school or an authorized representative. We encourage you to arrange the necessary signatures in advance.

Application deadline: 1 November 2026

Award ceremony: 14 November 2026, during a formal gala at the Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Poznań.
