The Foundation for Polish Science has announced a call for applications for the START 2026 scholarship.

Researchers who are no older than 30 years of age in the year of application are eligible to apply for the scholarship (an extension is possible in cases specified in the competition documentation). The scholarship is funded for a period of 12 months. In the previous edition, the scholarship amount was PLN 38,000.

The aim of the scholarship is to recognise the most talented young scholars and encourage them to continue their scientific development by enabling them to devote themselves fully to research work.

Applications must be submitted by 5 November this year. The internal deadline for submitting applications is 23 October.
