From 3 to 10 November 2024, prof. Alina Dudkowiak and prof. Paweł Śniatała visited an American university - Florida International University (FIU). The visit took place as part of the INPUTDoc project co-financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the STER Programme “Internationalisation of doctoral schools”.

The following meetings would take place during the visit:
- FIU Global & FIU COIL: Lukas Danner, Julissa Castellanos, Jeanette Smith;
- FIU Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences: Dr. S. S. “Ram” Iyenga;
- Global Forensic and Justice Center/National Forensic Science Training Center at FIU: Dr. Kenneth Furton;
- FIU College of Business, Doctoral Graduate Programs Team: Dr. George Marakas, Dr. Miguel Aguirre-Urreta;
- FIU Moss Construction Management Department, College of Engineering and Computing: Dr. Jose Faria, Dr. Nipesh Pradhananga, Dr. Mohamed ElZomor;
- Associate Dean for Graduate Education, RSCPHSW, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry: Dr. Stanislaw Wnuk.

The meetings included an overview of FIU's global activities and a discussion of the possibilities for future cooperation between universities in scientific and doctoral projects.
