On April 8 - 12, 2024, Doctoral School of Poznan University of Technology was visited by Pasqua Meccariello from EUNICE's partner university - the University of Catania. Pasqua Meccariello held meetings with the Management and Administration of the Doctoral School, during which the activities of the Doctoral School, recruitment and education conditions, as well as the education program and quality of education were discussed. The University of Catania is also one of three partners (apart from the Poznan University of Technology and the University of Cantabria) creating a joint educational offer for doctoral students in the 2023/2024 academic year, so the talks with the Professor also concerned further possibilities of cooperation towards internationalization.
Moreover, during the visit to the Poznan University of Technology, meetings were held with employees of the European University Department and representative of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Ph.D. Eng , Magdalena Regel-Rosocka, prof. PUT, EUNICE Task Leader under Work Package 4 (WP4).
It was the first visit of Pasqua Meccariello at the Poznan University of Technology, so a presentation of our University were also an obligatory point of the visit.
Visit took place as part of the INPUTDoc project and was co-financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the STER Programme “Internationalisation of doctoral schools”.
