Semester lecture by professor L. Demkowicz

We encourage you to participate in the semester lecture "Theory of Non-Self Adjoint Operators", which will be led by professor Leszek Demkowicz - a world-famous specialist in the field of computational mathematics and mechanics.

The lecture is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 16:00 - 17:30 Poznań time from August 2024.

Professor Leszek Demkowicz is a world-famous researcher with outstanding scientific and organizational achievements. He serves as deputy director of the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) and head of the Department of Computational Engineering and Sciences of the Second W.A. "Tex" Moncrief, Jr. at ICES, being a professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics and a professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He graduated in engineering and mathematics from the Krakow University of Technology and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

Professor Leszek Demkowicz received many awards and distinctions for his scientific achievements. He is a foreign member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.
