Announcement

The first edition of the “Trainings – Module I” under the INPUTDoc project in the winter semester of academic year 2022/23

 

Basic information / Program

  • The aim of “Trainings focused on developing skills relevant for international cooperation” is to raise (shape and develop) competences and soft skills relevant to international cooperation in the creation of scientific networks, as well as establishing and maintaining professional relations.
  • Module I – “Establishing contacts, and self-presentation of researchers” is offered in the winter semester of academic year 2022/23.
  • Module I will be composed of two parts:
    -    theoretical introduction (4h, in person/online),
    -    practical workshops (4h, in person, for 3 groups, each up to 12 people).
  • Specific objectives of the training include: identifying the ways of initiating and developing networks of cooperation in an academic environment and adequate preparation of self-presentation.
  • The training will be run by a professional training coach and take place at Poznan University of Technology.
  • The participants (beneficiaries) of the “Trainings” can be:
    -    doctoral students of PUT Doctoral School
    -    academic and office staff of PUT.
  • Participation in the “Trainings” is free of charge.
  • Participants who have completed both parts of Module will receive a certificate.

Deadlines and recruitment procedure

  • Applications for the “Trainings – Module I” should be sent sent by email to address: ster.phdschool@put.poznan.pl until December 19, 2022.
  • “Trainings – Module I” is scheduled between January 10-13, 2023.
  • The recruitment for “Trainings – Module I” will be carried out by Evaluation Committee.
  • The beneficiaries (participants) will be asked to fill out Appendix 1 (English, Polish) and Appendix 2 (English, Polish).
  • In case of a greater interest in the training, the "theoretical introduction" part of the Module can be run online.

  • practical workshops group II (academic and office staff): 08:30 AM - 11:40 AM, room 306C (Building of the Faculty of Chemical Technology)
  • practical workshops group III (doctoral students): 12:00 PM - 03:10 PM, room 306C (Building of the Faculty of Chemical Technology)
