On June 10 - 14, 2024, Ms. Agnieszka Sutherland visited the EUNICE's  partner university - the University of Cantabria (UC). It was Ms. Agnieszka Sutherland first visit to the University of Cantabria, so it began with a walk around the campus and a presentation of the University. 

During the visit, Ms. Agnieszka Sutherland met prof. Lidia Sanchez Ruiz, coordinator of transversal training at the UC Doctoral School and the Doctoral School Administration. During the meetings, there were talks about activities of the UC Doctoral School, including recruitment conditions and the educational program, as well as possibilities of cooperation towards internationalization. The University of Cantabria is one of three partners (apart from the Poznań University of Technology and the University of Catania) creating a joint educational offer for doctoral students in the 2023/2024 academic year, so the discussion also concerned the possibility of further cooperation in this area. 

During the visit, Ms. Agnieszka Sutherland also met prof.  Gabriel Moncalian Montes from EUNICE Project Board of Directors and other employees of the European University Department.

The visit took place as part of the INPUTDoc project and was co-financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the STER Programme “Internationalisation of doctoral schools”.
