Basic information
- Under the “Scholarships II” edition, five scholarships for 6 months each (paid monthly) are offered to doctoral students of PUT Doctoral School.
- The INPUTDoc project provides a scholarship according to the Regulations of the “Scholarships” competition and NAWA regulations.
- The basis for awarding the scholarship is the doctoral student's scientific achievements being the result of international cooperation undertaken during the implementation of doctoral project.
- The scholarship, financed and awarded as part of the INPUTDoc project, replaces the doctoral scholarship referred to in Article 209 of the Act – Law on Higher Education and Science.
- A doctoral scholarship financed by the INPUTDoc project may be awarded to a person studying at PUT Doctoral School in the second, third or fourth year, who fulfils the provisions of PUT Doctoral School Regulations and is:
a) a foreign doctoral student,
b) a doctoral student from Poland implementing a doctoral project in international cooperation and aiming at obtaining a joint degree or double degree. - A foreign doctoral student should be understood as:
a) a foreigner who is a graduate of first- and second-stage studies or long-cycle studies, completed at a foreign university,
b) a foreigner who is a graduate of second-stage studies completed at a Polish university,
c) a citizen of Poland who is a graduate of second-stage studies, or equivalent, completed at a foreign university. - The monthly amount of the scholarship is PLN 5,000 gross (about PLN 4,266 gross per doctoral student – minus all due derivative costs charged to doctoral student).
- The assessment of applications under the "Scholarships" competition in the INPUTDoc project will be carried out by the International Qualification Committee.
- Applications submitted under the "Scholarships" competition will be assessed according to the criteria set out in Appendix 1 to Regulations of the “Scholarships” competition.

Deadlines and submission procedure
- The scholarships granted in the “Scholarships II” competition will be paid in the academic year 2023/24.
- The application (Appendix 2 to Regulations of the “Scholarships” competition) submission deadline is October 2, 2023, 10.00 a.m.
- The application should be delivered to the Office of the Doctoral School, ul. Piotrowo 3 (room 604), 60-965 Poznan in hard copy as well as sent by email to address: ster.phdschool@put.poznan.pl.
- The application sent by email should be in a form of a pdf file; documents in the form of photo or image files will not be accepted.
- Applications which are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be subject to evaluation.
