On March 4 - 8, 2024, Doctoral School of Poznan University of Technology was visited by prof. Lidia Sanchez Ruiz from EUNICE's partner university - the University of Cantabria. The Professor held several meetings with the Management and Administration of the Doctoral School, during which the activities of the Doctoral School, recruitment and education conditions, as well as the education program and quality of education were discussed. The University of Cantabria is also one of three partners (apart from the Poznan University of Technology and the University of Catania) creating a joint educational offer for doctoral students in the 2023/2024 academic year, so the talks with the Professor also concerned further possibilities of cooperation towards internationalization.

Moreover, during the visit to the Poznan University of Technology, meetings were held with employees of the European University Department and representatives of the Faculty of Engineering Management, Ph.D. Eng Agnieszka Stachowiak, prof. PUT, Vice-Dean for Science, together with Ph.D. Eng Joanna Kałkowska, prof. PUT, Director of the Institute of Management and Information Systems. The research areas pursued at this Faculty are identical to the interests of the visiting guest.

It was the first visit of prof. L. Sanchez Ruiz at the Poznan University of Technology, so a walk around the Warta Campus and a presentation of our University were also an obligatory point of the visit.

The Professor's visit took place as part of the INPUTDoc project and was co-financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the STER Programme “Internationalisation of doctoral schools”.
