Polish language course for doctoral students at the PUT Doctoral School

In the 2025/2026 academic year, a Polish language course for doctoral students was launched at the PP Doctoral School. The course will be led by Ms Barbara Tarko and Ms Justyna Połomka from the PUT Centre for Languages and Communication.

The course will cover the following topics, amongst others:

  1. Student life
  2. Hobbies, expressing preferences
  3. Expressing time relationships
  4. Names of dishes, meals and drinks (ordering in cafés and restaurants)
  5. Asking for information and permission
  6. Work and activities
  7. Physical appearance and character traits – description
  8. Expressing possibilities and opportunities
  9. Daily routine
  10. Days of the week, telling the time.
